Intro - Ranmaru Vizzini
Back in 2012 I played in a Play-By-Post game of Mage. My character's name was Ranmaru Vizzini, a half-Japanese half-Sicilian linguist. He's also a dual wielding martial artist. Yes, he was a bit over the top, but it's a fantasy mage game. I have zero guilt. ^_^
Fast-forward to now, and a new Mage game is about to begin with the same Storyteller. I really missed the character and decided to play the same character again, albeit in an alternate reality. Because Ranmaru is the same character at heart, the Storyteller and I decided to keep his Awakening the same.
The next couple of posts will include Ranmaru's Awakening as a mage. Some of the wording is a bit odd because of the way the Storyteller and I traded posts back and forth. The tense gets off a bit in certain places as well. At some point I may go back and clean it up a bit. For now, I've just cleaned up any mention of rolls or game mechanic actions that I want to perform. The dates of the prelude have also been moved up a bit for the new game.
