Awakening - June 2, 2016 - Fukuoka Japan: Ranmaru Vizzini

Ranmaru wakes up the next morning feeling revived and refreshed. Almost like yesterday never happened. He goes about his daily morning routine and as he heads out the door, he sees the letter of resignation on the table. He sighs a moment before picking it up and putting in his travel satchel (it's not a murse dammit). When he arrives at the office, he very solemnly and formally hands his supervisor the letter of resignation. His supervisor looks very puzzled. "What brings this on, Vizzini-san?" Ikeda-san is even worse at pronouncing Vizzini than Akiko was. "You have been doing very well at this company and are in line for advancement." "I'm sorry Ikeda-kacho, my reasons are private." He bows deeply and hands over his company id card. "I won't be needing any personal items at my desk. Feel free to dispose of them. I'm sorry" He bows deeply again and heads towards the door. Episode 3: Cardassian Wars, Part 2 (Continued) — Begin Entry Kamal'Ha gave me a very ugly necklace today. I have no idea of its purpose. She seemed to have made it herself. I smiled when she gave it to me, unsure what sort of Orion custom I should be following at the moment. I don't think it's an invitation for sex. That doesn't seem to be her style. We're rather incompatible, personality wise. Maybe that's why we're friends. But due to her chosen career path, I don't think I can lean on her for emotional support. Kind of odd how that works out. Anyway, the Captain and senior crew are working through how to help the colonists on Solarian IV. It looks like the Cardassians have declared war and there's less than a handful of ships that can do anything about protecting this sector and freeing the colonies that have already fallen.
